Greetings from the Spanish Center!
I hope you are all well and ready to
enter the summer season that is so beautiful and warm in Wisconsin
especially in our corner of our state. I am happy to say that the
Spanish Center keeps serving our community with gusto and energy and
will continue to do so with input of the community and leadership from
the Board of Director. Thank you all!
During the past months of economic
turmoil that is affecting our country the Center has been able to
continue the delivery of services to our community but we need your
support. It is not easy to reach out to all without your financial
support and we ask for your help. Please contact us to explore the
alternatives we have in place and where your support will be directed.
We are also extremely proud to announce
that the Energy Assistance Coordinator, Kathy Dickey, was named as a
recipient for the Life-time Achievement Award from the State of
Wisconsin for her incredible dedication and support managing this highly
effective and productive team, making it the best in the State of
Wisconsin! Congratulations Kathy for a job well done!
The Spanish Center will continue to
being the access point for the Latino population and all community
groups thru a variety of services we offer such as Energy Assistance,
Gang Prevention and Youth programs, Senior Care and Social services as
well as educational programs available to all.
We are in constant search to meet the needs of the community and
will do anything we can to support you in all we can.
