Our Purpose

The Spanish Center has been a part of the South Eastern of Wisconsin since 1969. Focusing on individual needs and interests, it has grown to be an advocating agency, working on the behalf of those who walk through its doors.  The Spanish Center is actually owned by the people…that is, it has a Board of Directors that consist of members of the community.

The Spanish Center has not limited itself to the Hispanic community of Kenosha, but extends its services to all the people in our community. The Spanish Center’s staff works for and with those individuals seeking help. It aims to make resources known and available to the people in order that they may have the means to bring positive change into their own lives. As a forum for social change and economic development issues, The Spanish Center creates the means for community members to interact. It encourages individuals to participate in the community and to make positive contribution with their own lives.
